Things that tickle our fancies:

As we travel along, we sometimes, run into things that just reach out and crack us up. Sometimes it's just something strange that we've never seen before. This page is our chance to share some of those things with you.

Boat Names: Choosing a name for your new pride and joy is one of the most fun parts of boat ownership and often, a chance to express your dream in a name. Sometimes a name just 'fits', sometimes the new name is in honor of a spouse/girlfriend/grandchild (always cracks me up to hear some rough-tough old fisherman on the radio "This is PeggySue go ahead."). Often, the boat's new name expresses the owner's life philosophy. For a while there there were alot of Carpe Diem's and Hakuna Mattata's (though personally, naming your boat after a song in a Disney cartoon movie just doesn't sit right with me). Anyway, enough editorializing. Here's some of our favorite boat names we've heard on the radio or seen along the way.

• Global Warmer (obviously an unrepentent fuel burner)
• Money Sponge (aren't they all?)
• Potato Blossom
• Mr. Buttercup
• Prarrie Chicken
• Nibbles
• Butterscotch Ripple (another ice cream addict)
• It's up to you (well, she said the boat's name was "It's up to you!")
• Overdraft
• Hillbilly Heaven
• Puckerbutt (this one just cracks me up - didn't they ever think they'd have to call for help?)
• Concrete Blonde
• Yikes!
• Monkey Spanker
• Lindsay's Tuition (Lindsay just thought she was going to spend her tuition on herself!)
